 The
Parkhotel Sole Paradiso is steeped in history and tradition. It
enjoys a wonderful setting in an open meadow, embraced by the
woods of San Candido and fringed by the imposing Baranci peaks.
Guests have an opportunity to appreciate the warmth and
expertise of the Ortner Family, who have taken exquisite care of
their visitors for over four generations. Guests will relish the
attention, impeccable taste and panache manifested in every
detail. The hardwood floors areinlaid with stylish and original designs, which create an incomparable atmosphere. Each of the 42 comfortable rooms and apartments have private bathrooms and come equipped with hair-dryers, mini safes, telephones, and color TVs. The accommodations fall within four categories: Standard, Standard with balcony, Superior and Royal. Each is unique in its décor and variations include late 19th century, the 1920s, and modern designs. |
 Amenities
are numerous. A heated indoor swimming pool is surrounded by a
solarium, which includes sauna, turkish bath, infrared cabin,
fitness equipment and massages. There is also table tennis,
billiard, video games, tennis courts and bocce ball. For moments
of repose, relax in the Tyrolean reading room. If business is a
must, the hotel has a bright conference hall and fully equipped
meeting rooms. In the midst of the charming Dolomites, the area
is a well known winter and summer vacation resort. In the
winter, skiing abounds, with 70 miles of cross-country slopes,
ski races, excursions on horse-drawn sleds, ice skating and
curling. In the summer enjoy winding woodland paths, lush
meadows and breathtaking scenery. |
